Hey Andy,

Did this work for you, the reconsideration request? I'm quite interested since I need to send in some requests for some of my sites.. I want to know if this approach works ;)

Best,

~ Trader

Andy- something for sidebar widgets would be fantastic!!! I love your nofollow dupes plugin- HIGHLY under rated.

I look forward to a possible plugin :-)

Good luck with your re-inclusion. It must have been a hard decision for you to make.

Andy,

I'm wondering the same thing Jack is. Paid links do occasionally show on my main page, And setting robots.txt not to index may main page would probably be just short of suicidal in terms of spidering.

I'm sure I could remedy links showing on the main page if I had to, I doubt that it would harm my revenue stream significantly. I'm very interested to know if Google will honor your request. Just like Jack, the site I'm referring to dropped from an estimated PR5 to a PR0 overnight. While the loss hasn't cost me a single visitor, it IS putting a dent in my ability to gain advertising.

Keep us informed!

Jack

The only pages on my site that have external links from within the content are my permalink pages.

One of the most overlooked SEO plugins is something I knocked up a while ago
http://andybeard.eu/wordpress-plugins/nofollow-those-dupes

I should really do something for people who have dodgy themes with a sitewide sidebar using widgets as well

Being blocked by Google sounds like a really painful process.

I curious how exactly does one decipher or identify paid reviews?
