I had signed up for twitter some time ago- installed that twitter widget for wordpress and the promptly forgot about it. Then when I saw the news story about a blogger getting released from jail by using Twitter to notify his friends and family, it got me to thinking perhaps Twitter has some use in the world. SO I have been using it a little bit more in the past week- but I still find it kind of droll.

Andy you should start a post with all your guests posting their Twitter user id in the comments.

It would be fun to see how many Twitterers are around this blog! ;-)

Tecnorati canned my Friendfeed while twitterfeed is doing ok. But I think it may get canned after today. I have been twittering a lot today.

Off the topic. Andy, I really think you should install “subscribe to comments again”. I think that helps to follow the discussions. You use to 50+ comments per post. I think subscribe to comments was good contributor as far as discussions are concerned.

My claimed Friendfeed is no longer indexed by Technorati – they have done this with both Twitter and coComment in the past.

In my opinion is is part of the conversation (though I wish it happened on the blogs themselves), and the links between FF accounts are valuable metrics similar to blogrolls. In many ways the widgets from FF and similar services are replacing blogrolls.
In the past I have seen Technorati index widgets at their source.
