Thank you for this informative review. I have been thinking of writing up some kind of glossary for SEO terms, not so much with a view to monetize it right away, but simply as an informational resource for those are completely ignorant about topics such as SEO or Internet marketing.

I was reminded of just how prevalent ignorance of SEO issues is when I was trying to explain the concepts of AdWords and AdSense to my brother a few days ago. He had no idea that these things even existed or that it was possible to earn significant amounts of money with them. As I attempted to educate him about Adwords, I began my explanation, "Okay, you know that whenever you search for something at Google, you'll see the organic search results on the left side of the screen...", but before I could tell him that the AdWords ads were on the right side he interrupted, "Organic? You mean we have to fertilize them first or something?".

What makes this really funny is that my brother is a recent computer science graduate who has more technical savvy than I do in many areas. But when I try to explain Internet marketing stuff to him (or any other family members, come to think of it), I have found it difficult to hold their interest for very long because they don't understand most of the terminology. I did manage to get my mother to understand the concept of what search engine optimization was and why people who are good at it can make money with their websites, so I guess that's a good start!

[...] I have done one paid review on this blog, for Search Engine Glossary. I pointed out in that review that anyone asking for a review at that time would be doing well, because the stats hadn’t updated based on my then traffic rated by Alexa, and my subscriber numbers. The numbers used in ReviewMe are still the same 1 month later. My subscriber numbers and Alexa rating are constantly increasing. One of the big advantages of this new service (other than the larger piece of the pie for bloggers), is being able to set your own price or negotiate. I am also wondering whether the service will be suitable for niche websites rather than blogs. [...]

Usually people never reveal if they are reviewing for a compensation, so I was impressed that you disclosed that. Makes the review more credible; I think people fear if they put it out there that they accepted a review assignment from another site their review would be looked down upon. Bravo! I REALLY enjoyed the review.
