I’ll second to that Sharmaine. Free email service providers might really have an issue with their filtering services. Most of the notification goes to spam mail. And in other case some of the email confirmation and verification for a certain site goes straight to spam categories as well.

It’s not that easy to determine the spam mail. In my case, some of the delivered mails directed to my spam folder were actually sent by trusted senders. So i really have to sort them out one by one. There must be some filtering issues here.

Peronsally i thought that the email were genuinely spam untill i searched on the net to find out theywere from Technorati. I binned it anyway.

Prosender or one of the other white label Aweber solutions is a good choice for some, but you miss out on all the new analytics functions with the core Aweber service.

The analytics help you make your emails “right” for your audience, at the cost of a few more dollars for the improved service. Whether that is right for you really depends on your relationship with your list. If you tend to hammer your list, without regard for segmentation, then the new features would probably be less important to you.

I tried an email marketing campaign of my own, it was a disaster. Prosender does the trick and been very effective for my clients and I. Getting your emails “right” makes all the difference in the world. As far as I know, I have never had any filtering issues with prosender.

Yah, i often get email from trusty blogger flag as spam by gmail. It may because the email header like you say before, because the email source is form comment notification service.

This isn’t just a Gmail problem, lots of sites don’t have their headers set correctly such as SPF and response loops.

It is why people use email service providers for marketing email, it saves them all the technical problems.

Usually the mails i found in my Gmail spam folder are really spam.
So I would say the service works almost perfect.

However it’s in the eye of the beholder what’s spam and what not to some degree.
