Plutoed Definition

You would think that having been nominated by The American Dialect Society as the “word of the year”, official dictionary definitions would be prevalent on the internet.

So I decided to put Google to the test… oops.

Plutoed

Here is a link to the ADS results, which at this time seems to have the most precise definition of plutoed.

to pluto/be plutoed: to demote or devalue someone or something, as happened
to the former planet Pluto when the General Assembly of the International
Astronomical Union decided Pluto no longer met its definition of a planet.

Plutoed also has one entry in the Urban Dictionary

plutoed: to be demoted without due cause or reason

I was captain of the ship for one day, but then I was plutoed.

I will add to this list as I find more definitions.
