One great option to use WP as CMS is to integrate it with a forum software like PunBB.

Google “punbb wordpress” and there will pop up many sites on how to integrate them, both tutorials and plugins.

There are various aspects to using WordPress as a CMS

1. Using a static front page – WordPress now has this built in, an I normally create a custom template home.php

2. Possibly use of a few plugins to help control what is being displayed

3. Often quite a bit of work with standard or custom WordPress php commends depending on the layout you want to create

4. Design talent

The technology side of things is easier if you are just building one company site, because you don’t have to have all the links being created automatically.

The most I plan to do is write some articles which open your mind to the possibilities, but a lot of the technical and design aspects I am not in a position to teach a “perfect” solution for every application.

I would like to know when you are going to teach us how to make our site with WordPress. I.e WordPress as a CMS.

I already have some wordpress blogs, however I would like to set up a site like Michel’s success dr.
