I have had long term problems with the Compete Toolbar as I pointed out some time ago on my friend Paul’s blog, I think I actually made that comment on my first visit to his blog.
Ok that is a bit tongue in cheek – Alexa data has always had some use for sites that are not gamed, and within similar niches, and it is always nice to see.
There is a good reason I include a quote from Dane Morgan on my about page. It is not just because it was complementary, but because I know he is a very smart cookie, that has been around the block a few times with all kinds of affiliate marketing. He is vastly more experienced than I am.
I had been having some ISP problems connecting to Feedburner for a couple of days so I hadn’t logged into my Feedburner account.
I am happy to see that I have crossed the 200 subscriber count. It isn’t a number to create a big fanfare about, but would like to thank those who have subscribed.
I am mentioning MyBlogLog a lot these days, but there are reasons for this
- A large proportion of my readership are using it.
- A large number are still not using it (they are missing out)
Various forms of web metrics and keyword research are one of the cornerstones of internet marketing, and I have decided that some reviews of such services could develop into some good “cornerstone” content.
