When Will New York Introduce A Google Tax?

Today's news is that Overstock have decided that they are axing 3400 affiliates in the New York area because of the previously reported "Amazon Tax" - which Amazon are fighting.

I think Janet was the first to break the news of the Overstock changes

Precisely Why It Pays To Update Your Sales Pages

Earlier today I read about a new report on Yahoo Search Marketing's Panama over on Marketing Pilgrim, so I thought I would take a look. The problem is that I am the curious type and tend to click around on the pages I visit, and noticed the Adwords book. So I clicked through and noticed that the Adwords ebook had a number of bonuses offered, which included the new Yahoo book (which is spiral bound) Even better, the Adwords ebook is sold through Clickbank - maybe that bonus is to an old ebook? Google Reader News and When Will Google Create a Social Network?

Google Reader is one of the easiest to use RSS Readers currently available. The code is fairly light, thus allowing you to skim read 100s of RSS articles quickly. One of its many failings however, which I have pointed out previously was the lack of reporting subscriber counts to Feedburner.

Adwords Keyword Tool

I have just added a free to use Adwords Keyword Formatter that I wrote some time ago for my old site. As I was playing around with generation scripts, I thought I would use it as a test for including PHP generators in a Wordpress page, and it turned out fairly well.

I use Google for a lot of searching every day, I am sure more than 95% of casual users. I am not talking about checking ranking, as things like that can be automated with Google’s APis and various tools. When I need to find information, I use Google Search.
I have seen Google suggest other related terms to try such as this, which appears at the bottom of a page when I search for “insurance”.
