Navigational elements on a blog or any website are an important feature, but you should be careful not to take things to extremes which can hurt the progress of your site, both from a SEO perspective and for website conversion.
I was honestly wondering when someone would come up with a service like Share-A-Post, because it is one of those “no brainer” ideas that I have thought of doing, but never got around to.

Om Malik recent was taking a look at Rojo from a traffic perspective. What he didn’t touch on, although he did refer to a previous post, was that the Rojo page was actually a very poor quality splog.
I am sure lots of webmasters are monitoring their pagerank updates currently, and sometimes how they happen can be quite weird. The toolbar representation doesn’t mean much for search traffic, as the pagerank stored on the datacenters is always up to 3 months ahead of that dispalyed in the toolbar. It is however useful for monetization in various ways, and an ego thing, as I pointed out in my first article on the recent Pagerank updates.
It is five years, almost to the day that Yahoo started charging $299 per year for a listing in their directory as this article on Pandia clearly illustrates.
The main benefit of being in the Yahoo directory isn’t traffic, it is pagerank / trustrank. Who actually uses the Yahoo directory for anything other than listing their own sites?
It is many years since I went to Yahoo to lookup an entry for anything other than a competitor in a niche.
