Bumpzee Adds Amazing Feature – Autotagging

Bumpzee Autotagging

One of the many features that have been added to Bumpzee over the last few days is something I was really looking forward to.

Auto Tagging

This feature is important because all my content that is relevant is being automatically being posted to Bumpzee, no need to submit it.
But it would become a pain if I had to visit the site after every post I made on the blog to add tags.
Bumpzee Autotagging
Bumpzee is now automatically parsing each post for tags, such as rel=”tag” used for Technorati, and adding them automatically with each entry.

MyBlogLog Wishlists – Stop Thinking Small

MyBlogLog

I hate to say it guys, but all these wishy washy wish lists that appeared today really don’t give MyBlogLog the credit they truly deserve, or really explore the potential of MyBlogLog. Andy Beal has a few useful ideas. Shoemoney also has a list, but I am not going to link to him as he prefers invective to cover up his spamming activities. In fact Shoemoney’s list seems to be an attempt to control the problems his community marketing tactics initially encouraged.

MyBlogLog Roundup

MyBlogLog

I am mentioning MyBlogLog a lot these days, but there are reasons for this

  1. A large proportion of my readership are using it.
  2. A large number are still not using it (they are missing out)

MyBlogLog Community Meme

There are lots of memes going around, none with an emphasis on social networking, and in particular MyBlogLog. There are lots of people looking to expand their MyBlogLog communities, so this idea has a chance to take off.

MyBlogLog Tricks

I noticed a useful trick to show more of the people who have visited your blog recently over on Digital Inspiration.
This is extremely useful to help you spot contact whores who are just sending you contact requests without ever visiting your blog. There are scripts out there to do this now, so be on the lookout.

MyBlogLog – Social Networking Opportunity

I decided to write a second MyBlogLog post in a row, just to give a positive indication of how MyBloglog can and should be used.

I just received a contact request from Joe Beaulaurier of PRWeb. He had visited my blog, maybe liked what he read, and had also already joined my community. There is a fair chance he has also subscribed to my RSS feed.

MyBlogLog Plutoed?

MyBlogLog is a service I enjoy using, and which provides me with a significant amount of quality readers.

But it is becoming devalued

Recently Andy Beal decided to issue a free Zune MP3 player to a member of his MyBlogLog community. I actually thought this was a good idea to encourage people to use the service, as Andy has a high readership. Thus I did link through to him in my post “MyBlogLog – Antisocial Behaviour?”.

Am I an antisocial member of MyBlogLog?

Contacts in MyBlogLog

Adding someone as a contact in MyBlogLog does 2 major things

1. It sends them an email message
2. It allows your contact information to be viewable by them
