This can be for some reasons, and looking at PHP code for the first time can be quite scary.<\/p>\n<p>Thus I am going to start providing hacked copies of the plugins from this page.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hacked Plugins will still be under their original license<\/li>\n<li>The distributed plugins should not be looked on as a branch of the original<\/li>\n<li>In general, I will not be providing support for the plugins, though I don\u2019t mind answering the odd comment or request.<\/li>\n<li>I will publish the changes I have made.<\/li>\n<li>No guarantee of future updates in line with the original releases.<\/li>\n<li>Some plugins have update notifications \u2013 currently, I intend to leave those \u201cas is,\u201d thus you would be notified of an update to the original, not the hacked version.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I am making these hacks for my own use. Thus the changes I make will only be enough to identify the plugin as a hacked version and provide the functionality I require.<\/p>\n<h2>Antisocial<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Hacked version of the <a href=\"https:\/\/push.cx\/sociable\">Sociable plugin<\/a> that includes nofollow on all links.<\/li>\n<li>Other than the name, the changes are similar to the <a href=\"https:\/\/andybeard.eu\/2006\/12\/nofollow-and-pink-boxes.html\">changes detailed here<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>All filenames and folders are identical to original, and they probably cannot co-exist.<\/li>\n<li>This distribution now includes the StumbleUpon fix and TwitThis added by Jemmille.<\/li>\n<li>This distribution now has support for Sphinn.<\/li>\n<li>Please be aware of the bugs with <a href=\"https:\/\/andybeard.eu\/2007\/06\/sociable-plugin-error-with-wordpress-221.html\">Sociable and WordPress 2.2.1<\/a> \u2013 it works when you are saving preferences, but it doesn\u2019t look like it does.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This plugin remains for historical purposes but could be looked on as obsolete.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<input type=\"hidden\" class=\"simple-love-fix\" data-id=\"146\" value=\"0\" \/><p>Sometimes I feel the need to hack a WordPress plugin to do something slightly different to the original purpose.
